Repeatable checks

An automated pentest to detect application risks earlier

Automated pentesting brings frequency and repeatability. PentestLouis combines several families of checks, then lets you assign an AI agent a bounded exploration of attack paths.

01

What automation brings

Automated checks are especially effective at spotting regressions, dangerous configurations, known dependencies, exposed secrets and flaws observable from the web. They apply the same method on every run and let you verify more often than a one-off engagement.

  • Initial check before a production release
  • New analysis after a significant fix
  • Monitoring between two human engagements
  • Preparation for a discussion with a customer or auditor
02

What an automated tool should not promise

No scanner fully understands your business logic, your internal permissions or the real impact of each piece of data. PentestLouis therefore reports the level of evidence, the areas not analyzed and the assumptions made. No alert only means that no issue was identified within the scope that was run.

For a critical application, an in-depth human audit complements the automated diagnostic with tailored scenarios, interviews and contextual validation.

03

From signal to remediation plan

The report groups findings by severity and by area. Each entry explains the consequence, what was observed and who usually owns the fix. The goal is not to produce as many alerts as possible, but to help the team decide what to address now.

Frequently asked questions

Move forward with the right answers.

Scope, method and limits: what you need to know to make your choice.

How is this different from a vulnerability scanner?

A scanner usually runs one family of checks. PentestLouis correlates several sources — code, dependencies, secrets and web surface — and can extend that diagnostic with a capped AI exploration.

How often should an analysis be rerun?

After any sensitive change to authentication, authorization, payments or infrastructure, then on a regular schedule matched to the product’s release pace.

Can the tests disrupt production?

Passive checks greatly limit that risk. An active exploration must be authorized, bounded and ideally run against a representative staging environment.
